Sinjar – Hope Makers Organization for Woman (HMOW) continues its commitment to supporting the people of Sinjar District by conducting a series of vital awareness sessions. Recognizing Suicide Signs – Raising awareness about warning signs and the importance of early intervention.
Negative Coping Mechanisms: Drug and Alcohol Addiction – Highlighting the risks of substance abuse and promoting healthier coping strategies.
Newborn Misconceptions and Harmful Practices – Correcting widespread myths, including traditional remedies like Sagwa, which pose risks to infant health.
Heat Convulsions in Children (Ages 6 Months to 5-6 Years) – Educating parents on febrile seizures, how to differentiate them from other conditions, and the correct way to reduce fever.
