Hope Makers Organization for Woman (HMOW) Empowers Women Through Psychosocial Support

Hope Makers Organization for Woman (HMOW) proudly continues its psychosocial support (PSS) group sessions for women in Sinjar and Sinuni, fostering emotional well-being and resilience in communities recovering from adversity. These transformative sessions, led by experienced social workers, focus on practical skills such as stress management, coping strategies, and self-esteem building, while creating a safe space for open dialogue and mutual support.

Since their inception, the PSS sessions have empowered hundreds of women, enabling them to build stronger relationships, enhance emotional stability, and rediscover hope. To ensure the program’s sustainability, HMOW collaborates with local stakeholders and invests in advanced facilitator training.

By prioritizing mental health and community healing, HMOW reaffirms its commitment to creating lasting change and brighter futures for women in these regions.
