Hope Makers Organization for Woman Activities on 16 Days of Activism

As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Women and Girls’ Violence, the Hope Makers for Woman Organization (HMOW), in partnership with Première Urgence Internationale and supported by CDCS, launched a meaningful campaign under the theme "Orange the World."

The campaign included planting 60 orange trees in key locations across Sinjar, symbolizing hope and renewal. Sites included Duha School, Al-Walid Schools, Sinjar Kindergarten, and Nasr Health Center.

Awareness sessions were also held, led by psychologist Fawzia Salim Eido, discussing gender-based violence, prevention strategies, and ways to provide support. These sessions targeted women and men, emphasizing collective action to end violence.

Together, we can create a safer, more equitable world for everyone.
