A Safe Future for Women: Field Outreach in Sinjar

01/07/2022 - As part of the "Future of Security for Women" project, the Hope Makers Organization for Woman (HMOW), funded by UNFPA, is conducting field visits across the Sinjar District to engage with households directly and provide critical outreach on women's rights and gender-based violence (GBV). This initiative aims to create a safer future for women by fostering community awareness and support for women's rights, educating families on the importance of preventing and addressing GBV, and empowering women to advocate for their own safety and well-being. Through these personal interactions, HMOW works to build stronger, more informed communities where women’s rights are respected and protected.
