Dr. Nagham Hasan Meets with French Officials to Advocate for Kidnapped Yezidi Women

Dr. Nagham Hasan, a renowned human rights defender and Executive Director of HMOW, met with Ms. Isabelle Rôle, Ambassador for Human Rights at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Raphaël Dang, Human Rights Officer at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting focused on the plight of kidnapped Yezidi women and emphasized the need for international and local cooperation to intensify efforts to locate and rescue them, especially in light of recent developments in the region. Dr. Hasan highlighted the urgent need for coordinated actions to bring justice to the victims and their families.

The French representatives reaffirmed their government’s commitment to supporting the rights of minorities in the Middle East, pledging continued efforts to uphold justice and human rights for affected communities.
